I'm a spunky tiny thirty-something year old woman. I currently reside in North Dakota with my delightful little family. My husband, an electrician, my two biological children, a three year old son, and a year and a half year old daughter, and sometimes my bright eleven year old step daughter, add two cats to the mix as well. They make everyday a great adventure.
I enjoy writing, both non-fiction and fiction. I am also rather crafty and artistic, I crochet, cross stitch, paint, and otherwise Pinterest myself to oblivion, about the only thing I don't do crafty wise is sew. Furthermore I enjoy cooking a great deal, and am currently working on filling up my deep freezer and pantry in preparation for my first North Dakota winter. I try to keep a neat and tidy house, although I don't always succeed in this. Between all of this I also try to get in some personal reading.
When it comes to religion I spent a long time trying to figure out what I believed and only recently found Buddhism and that seems to be working well for me, although I am not great yet at incorporating daily practice into my life I would like to someday.
Educationally I graduated from Truman State University with a degree in History and a minors in Biology and Medieval Studies. I am very interested in topics like women's history, true crime, entomology, general science, and culture.
Finally I guess I would like to add that the whole family is pretty geeky, we love all the traditional geek culture stuff. If it has anything to do with super powers, time travel, space, dragons, knights in shining armor, pirates or magic it has our interest.
